Day 35 of the Lactose Intolerance Cure

Today's the day I test out my tolerance for lactose. I'm trying to be open minded. What has lactose ever done to me... oh yes, that's right. It has made the last 20 years of my life less than optimal. Well, we'll see if I can at least physically tolerate the lactose, even if I'm still emotionally scarred.

The dosages for today are:
Breakfast - 8 ounces of milk. Yep, just plain old full-of-lactose milk
Dinner - 8 ounces of milk.

I seemed to do just fine today. I've had no problems this morning or this evening. We'll have to see how it goes over the next 2 days as well, as I finish up the program by drinking even more milk.

As far as food I've eaten today:

Bowl of Total with Cranberries and Archer Farms organic skim milk (yes, full of lactose)
Beef stew
Homemade apple pie
Danon peach yogurt
Clif Bar
Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwich
Edy's strawberry fruit bar

If you're new to reading this blog, and this is the first page you're reading, this is the Lactagen program. It's designed to train you large intestines to produce micro flora that will break down lactose, since your smaller intestines are no longer producing the lactase enzyme effectively. The great question is, will it cure my lactose intolerance? I should know a lot by tomorrow morning.
