One nice thing about doing this Lactagen program is I have to avoid lactose, which makes it easier to avoid overeating during holiday weekends. Labor day weekend was actually pretty easy to get through. Today, Tuesday, everything is back to normal, and I'm feeling fine and feeling good about not gorging myself over the past few days.
Today's dosage is:
5 cc (1 large scoop) of the Lactagen mix at breakfast.
20 cc (4 large scoops) of the Lactagen mix at dinner.
As far as food today, I ate:
Post Trail Mix Crunch with Dairy Easy lactose free milk
Some Lean Cuisine meal. I don't remember which one
Clif Bar
Green grapes
Pasta with meat sauce
Bowl of Total with cranberries cereal with Dairy Easy lactose free milk
If you're new to reading this blog, and this is the first page you're reading, this is the Lactagen program. It's designed to train you large intestines to produce micro flora that will break down lactose, since your smaller intestines are no longer producing the lactase enzyme effectively. The great question is, will it cure my lactose intolerance?
