Gave blood today. It has nothing to do with the Lactagen, but it's mildly eventful.
Well, today is the first day where I take the Lactagen mix both at breakfast and at dinner. With breakfast I mixed the 1.25 cc of Lactagen with Apple Juice. For dinner I also mixed the 20 cc of Lactagen with Apple Juice. It tasted pretty good. So, it appears Lactagen mixes well with at least 3 different juices now.
As far as food today, I ate:
Bowl of frosted mini wheats with Daisy Ease lactose free milk
Toast with homemade blueberry strawberry jam
Clif bar
Lane peanut butter crackers and small OJ (post giving blood)
1 hot dog, no bun
Couple of ounces of whole bean chili
Cinnamon wheat bread
Pulled pork bbq plate from Cook Out (can't wait til I can have their milkshakes again)
Edy's strawberry fruit bar
If you're new to reading this blog, and this is the first page you're reading, this is the Lactagen program. It's designed to train you large intestines to produce micro flora that will break down lactose, since your smaller intestines are no longer producing the lactase enzyme effectively. The great question is, will it cure my lactose intolerance?
